Mamu is the affectionate nickname I’ve carried since birth—a name that has followed me through every creative chapter of my life.

My journey began at the age of nine, when I watched my aunt transform a simple ball of yarn into beautiful shawls, placemats, and tiny baby booties. Fascinated by the artistry of her hands, I eagerly accepted the day she placed a crochet hook and yarn in mine. With patience—and a few playful scoldings for my unusual grip—she taught me my very first stitches.

From that moment, I was hooked. I spent hours creating shawls, scarves, and baby clothes for the people I loved. I will never forget the pride I felt when I saw my father wear the scarf I had crocheted for him on his way to work.
